Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will act as director of the newly created Institute for Animal Genetics. They will also carry out research in the field of animal breeding and genetics, teach in the subject 鈥淎nimal Breeding and Genetics, Including Animal Judging鈥� within the Staatsexamen (state examination) veterinary medicine degree program that licenses graduates to practice veterinary medicine in accordance with the German Veterinarian Licensing Regulations (Verordnung zur Approbation von Tier盲rztinnen und Tier盲rzten), and cover teaching in the equine science bachelor鈥檚 degree program.

Governed by Section 100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetz 鈥� BerlHG)
