It deals with interdisciplinary basic research into various forms of discrimination, hostility and violence in their diverse causes, manifestations and effects in the past and present. The focus is on antisemitism, with neighboring topics such as racism, antiziganism, Islamophobia etc. as well as Jewish studies etc., playing a growing role in the Center's research and teaching.
