W3-Professorship in Empirical-experimental research methods and statistics

The Department of Psychology is looking for a person with a proven track record in research and teaching who represents statistics and research methods in psychology in their entire breadth, particularly in teaching. The teaching portfolio should extend beyond the psychology degree programs to the cognitive science degree programs. The teaching commitment is nine semester hours per week. Internationally visible research activities with an empirical-experimental focus are expected. The research interests of a successful applicant should match and extend the profile of cognitive psychology in the Department of Psychology. Particularly in the degree programs leading to a license to practice in psychotherapy, teaching should be provided in the German language.
Required qualifications include a PhD or equivalent degree as well as postdoctoral qualifications and teaching experience equivalent to the requirements of a full professorship.
